1. Damage Dealers : This means to kill stuff. However, nobody likes playing with inexperienced or rude damage dealers. Do your party a favor and follow the basic rule of only attacking what your tank has and dont pull enemies off of the tank. If you pull an enemy off your tank alert your tank and let him pull the enemy off of you.
2. Healers : Priests, Paladins, Druids, and Shamans all have appropriate healing abilities. Certain healing spells are better for certain situations. As a healer you have to make sure that you manage your mana and try your best to keep your party alive. Make sure you spend talent points to optimize your heals.
3. Tanks : Paladins, Warriors, and Feral Druids make excellent tanks at low levels . Tanking with demons or pets is not a good idea. Tanks spend their talent points very carefully .

Cleric is a more popular class in MapleStory.They have holy spells that are very powerful against the undead’s and evil-based monsters. They also have skills that makes up for their low stamina and guarding abilities.
If you want to become a Magician, you must be at least level 8. Otherwise, level 10. Plus, you must have at least 20 INT. Once you are ready, head over to Ellinia, the town of Magicians, located in a deep forest east of Victoria Island, and go to the very top of the town. On the highest platform, you will see a house. Go inside the and you will see a floating person named Grendel the Really Old. Talk to him and he will judge your worth as a possible Magician and you will advance as a Magician.
Magician Training Grounds
Level 1-8: Train in Maple Island against Snails, Blue Snails, and Shrooms.
Level 8-10: Train in Henesys against Snails, Blue Snails, Red Snails, Shrooms, Slimes, Mushrooms, and Pigs.
Level 10-15: Train in Ellinia against Slimes.
Level 15-21: Train in Henesys against Pigs and Ribbon Pigs.
Level 21-30: Train in Ellinia against Green Mushrooms and Horned Mushrooms or Do the Party Quest in Kerning City or train in the dungeon against Stirges.

In order to become a Cleric, you must be at least level 30. Go talk to Grendel the Really Old once again, and he will rave about how you look much stronger now than before. He will also make an offer that if you pass a simple test, he will make you even more powerful than you already are. Cnce you accept the offer to take the test, he will give you a letter that is for the Job Advancement Instructor near Ellinia, and you will have to go search for that person. Once the instructor receives the letter from you, you will be taken inside a tree, where the instructor tells you to collect 30 Dark Crystals by defeating the monsters inside. Once inside, there are no stores around to speak of, so you will need to stock up and prepare yourself before entering. Once all 30 Dark Crystals have been collected, the instructor will award you with a Proof of a Hero, and you will take that back to Grendel the Really Old in Ellinia, where then you will advance as the Cleric.
Cleric Training Grounds
Level 30-35: Train in the dungeon against Horned Mushrooms, Undead Mushrooms, and Stirges.
Level 35-40: Train in the subway against Jr. Wraiths or do Ludibrium Party Quest.
Level 40-45: Train in the subway against Jr. Wraith or train in Ellinia against Zombie Lupins or in Ludibrium against Chronos and Platoon Chronos or do Ludibrium Party Quest.
Level 45-50: Train in Ellinia against Zombie Lupins or train in Ludibrium against Platoon Chronos or do Ludibrium Party Quest.
Level 50-55: Train in the Subway against Wraiths or do Orbis Party Quest.
Level 55-60: Train in the Subway against Wraiths or do Orbis Party Quest.
Level 60-70: Train in the Subway against Wraiths or train in El Nath against Coolie Zombies or do Orbis Party Quest.

Do you have trouble in deciding what Maple Story class you want to be? If this is the case, you come in the right place, because we will make mention of all classed in this game now.
In maple story mesos, class is called job. It determines what weapons you use, what skills you can use, different armors and weapons you can use, all of that stuff. Now, what are the classes?
There’re five general classes such as Thief, Bowman, Warrior, Magician and Pirate. Each of these jobs divides into sub-classes, which go into more specific details of you class which help you master the aspects of the class you like.
For thief, its sub-classes are assassin, bandit.
For bowman, its sub-classes are hunter and maplestory mesos crossbow man.
For magician, its sub-classes are cleric fire/ poisin wizard and ice/lightning wizard.
For warrior, its sub-classes are fighter, page and spearman.
For pirate, its sub-classes are brawler and gunslinger.

Page is right for you if you like using flashy skills and maple story mesos huge cool-looking weapons. Pages use mainly holy skills and hammers and swords for their weapons.
Crossbowman is right for you if you like long-range, huge power and using strategy while training. Crossbowmen have a wide variety of skills used for killing monsters effectively and cleverly in battle. They use crossbows for weapons.
Fire/Poisin is right for you if you like watching creatures whither slowly and painfully away to their doom. Fire/ Poisin wizards use fire and maple story mesos poisin to attack their enemies. Fire is damaging and cools and poising drains away the monster’s hp. Fire/Poisin wizards mainly use wands and staves for weapons.
Gunslinger is right for you if you like shooting things to death, a cop. Well gunslingers are nothing like that. But they do use guns, which is sweet and use guns, bullets as weapons.
Brawler is right for you if you like being a boxer and maplestory mesos punching your foes to death to release your anger. Brawlers use knuckles to punch their enemies.
